Product Description

The POOF-Slinky - Ideal Chuck-O Splash Classic Bean Bag Toss Game, 0X0873 is a portable version of the classic bean bag toss game (also known as "Bags", "Baggo" or "Cornhole") that floats in water and is designed to be played in a pool or at the beach. Chuck-O Splash is played with (2-4) players divided into (2) teams with (1) rectangular floating gameboard platform placed 20-feet away from you in the pool. Players or teams pick a colored floating bean bag set and use those colored bags throughout the game. The game platform will float around during play so players should all throw from the same spot to keep things fair. If a tossed bag goes through the hole and in the net, that player or team gets (3) points. If a bag lands and remains on the gameboard at the end of a round, each bag will count for (1) point. The first player or team to reach (21) points wins. Loved by children and trusted by parents for over 100-years, the Ideal brand provides a wide variety of games, activity kits, magic sets and classic toys that parents and grandparents remember from their own childhood years. The POOF-Slinky - Ideal Chuck-O Splash Classic Bean Bag Toss Game, 0X0873 is recommended for children 8-years of age and older. Great idea, but why make it cheap? 15 Jun. 2012
By Jules Lee - Published on Amazon.com
Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
This is a great family game, and we love playing it. Unfortunately, they made it with thin, cheap plastic piping that bends and breaks. I rebuilt the legs with PVC and they are now more durable, but the blue pipes on the side of the blue-rectangle that the game board is pinned into is starting to break. I would pay more for a version that was durable. Shame that they took the cheap path!

Fleeting Fun 29 July 2012

Lots of fun but didn't last long. The major piece of the toy which is the flat surface became brittle and cracked quickly. Only got use out of it for a few months. So not worth it for the price. Very cheaply made which dampened our enjoyment!

This is VERY cheaply made and definitely not worth the money! As soon as a bean bag hits the surface it starts to lean and is hard to use. Would not recommend this and wish I still had the package and could trade mine in for something else!

Very cheaply made it fell apart the first time we used it. Had to take it apart and glue everything together. The plastic front where the net is very brittle and cracks easily. NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!!!
Not A Game Played Often In Our Family. 12 July 2015
By Colleen Shibley - Published on Amazon.com
Having just purchased a home with a pool I have been trying to find fun and interesting games to add to our outdoor pool arsenal. I did purchase this game on another site last year and finally got it out this year to use. My children tried to put it together last year but gave up.

I do not feel that it is necessarily poor quality as some reviews have mentioned. I think that it is plastic and you can only expect so much. I will say that one MAJOR and I do mean MAJOR complaint was putting it together. For the most part it is easy to understand but I had a heck of a time trying to get the little plastic ring to click together and stay. To the point that I had bruises on my palms the next day.

As for the game play I watched my kids play for a while and noticed that they were keeping the actual game out of the pool. I asked them why and they said because it moves too much. Of course it is in the water so it is suppose to move. After this initial game play the kids have not gotten the game back out. So for our family it doesn't appear to be a game worth keeping around.
