The roll that arrived in the box was a lot less than what is on the box. The printed area was also smaller, leaving a lot of white space on the paper. It was a novelty gift so I haven't wiped my own bum with it and can't comment on that experience.

Or it will be if you buy one of these bog rolls. When the euro was launched the people of Europe were told that it was the start of a glorious new era for the continent. The single currency would help to bring about a "social Europe" where "social justice" would prevail. There would be a new "social contract" where, in return for giving up their national currencies, the euro, together with the "social chapter" would deliver "more jobs", "greater prosperity" and "higher living standards for all". It would "guarantee Europe's welfare state" and we'd all skip merrily, hand-in-hand, towards a wonderful new future where 'EU social this' and 'EU social that' would bring about some kind of paradise on earth. What commentators on the right sarcastically described as "EUtopia".
Those, more cautious souls, who pointed out that every currency union in history had broken up, unless, as in the case of America and Britain, it was preceded by generations of political union and was held together by a single tax system, were castigated by Britain's 'progressive', liberal-Left political and media elite. They were described as "mad", "dangerous", "nationalistic nutters", "right-wing fanatics", "little Englanders", "backward", "reactionary", "lunatics", "xenophobes", "ignorant", "stupid", "fools", "idiots", "living in the past" and ludicrously even called "racists". Mmmmm. It's hard not to laugh.
The euro is going to go down the toilet one way or another. With this toilet roll on hand you can be one of the first people to send it to where it so richly deserves to be and in a manner so befitting something that is destroying the lives of so many people. It's time for the people of Europe to pull the chain on this crap idea.

Still cheaper than the 'real' thing.
Astonishingly, the 'real' euro is still pretending to be worth more than these, despite these having considerably more utility. Clock's ticking.
