How many feel that this is the strongest book in the series thus far?

I really feel the charaters have been fleshed out in this installment. Tom and Alice are growing up and they are rising to the occasion in this book, I feel. Tom is questioning his own motives and actions, where I really felt he tried to always follow his master in the previous books without question.
