I upgraded from a PC to a Mac, which I have had no issue with until now...

I'm something of an Excel power user and have become accustomed to a certain number of features I would now consider essential in any spreadsheet based application.

As much as I love iWorks, I'm afraid Numbers is just awful. Keynote/Pages are great but Numbers is just... disappointing?

Excel is so much more powerful even if it's not as pretty, but as someone who is more interested in using Excel for building databases, colourful charts and pictures are just an added bonus not a necessity.

I have tried using Open Office for Mac which would be fine, provided it didn't crash every five minutes like it does...

Is there a way to buy just Excel 2011 on its own - and at a 1/3 of the price of this not for the £91 its being sold for on Amazon?
