Just thought of making a list of games I bought for the cheapest prices from various places rather than buying on release dates.

Rainbow Six Vegas - £10

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 - £10

Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 2 - £10

Gears of War 2 - £15

Prince of Persia - £15

PGA Tiger Woods 2009 - £11

I'll be adding more as I purchase.

Last Remnant - 13.50 (ebay)

Ace Combat 6 - 12ish (amazon marketplace)

Those and Forza 3 are my only 3 games.. so far.

Madden 09 PS3 £7.99 - in your face HMV!
Bioshock PS3 8.99 (twice)
NBA 09 PS3 - £4.95 (last week even)
Resistance 2 £10

I will rarely pay more than £17.99 and even then will look for deals <£12 - so too many to mention. Amazon prices are like the stock market - up and down and if you keep an eye out you can bag a bargain.

Far Cry 2 PS3 - £6.50 (last week on PlayTrade)

Erm... can't think of anything else I've bought recently particularly cheap.

Viking (360) £7.99 in Game

Dark Sector (360) £6.99 new on Amazon market place

Both games are very decent and I played and finished them both and can still be found at low prices.

Motor Storm £1.99! from an amazon seller! Bought about 6 months ago

 Leytonboy says:
Yeah I have a similar rule of not paying more than £20.00 for any game as their will always be an offer going, as all you have to do is keep an eye out for special offers on various websites and to a lesser extent Shops.

Leytonboy I wish I had that willpower. that release day smell gets me everytime! Besides (esp with fps) you get left behind on the multiplayers if you leave it to late. The best time to be a noob is when everybodies a noob.

Dead space £12 - Amazon Market Place

Thats all i can remember of the top of my head.

Posted on 4 Nov 2009 14:54 GMT
Wolverine £7 from a car boot 2 weeks after release, and no its not a copy.

In reply to an earlier post on 4 Nov 2009 14:56 GMT
Many games will at some point in the couple of months following their release be in a >£20 weekly offer on Play or ShopTo. Amazon usually follows suit.

I borrowed Batman off a pal and finished it weeks back, but I'm tempted to buy it if I see it for a good price. Not really sure if I would re-play it in full, but bloody enjoyed it while it was going.

Siren Blood Curse - £10

 AstroMonkey says:
Tel, batman is the only game I've got the plat for that I still play. It's just so wonderfully crafted and full of life. You can download new challenges from psn which keeps it interesting and going the joker in challenge mode is much more difficult so holds it's own set of challenges. Quality game.

Dead Space is £10-£15 everywhere now. It was £10.50 here the other week, although I think the price has gone back up now.
