I did. Even more appalling was the fact I went to Asda and was in a queue along with 400 other people. Every second in there I could feel my social grade slipping and becoming increasingly itchy as the personal hygiene of those around me made feel very scratchy. On leaving Asda, there was a posse of 6 rudeboys outside looking like they were wanting to rob everyone. Anyway, stayed up until 4am and really enjoyed the MP of MW2. Feeling a bit ropey at work today, but the cahnce to play MW2 later is keeping me going. Not going to make sweeping statements about the game yet, but potentially could be my favourite game of this generation.
I could never do that, would feel too embarrassed, well take comfort in the fact you weren't as bad as one guy on the news on BBC this morning, he not only queued at midnight but booked a week off work to play the game! lol
LOL!! I have an even better story for you though....as we know saisburys are selling MW2 for £26 so at the sainsburys in my town the ques started to appear for the game at about 11pm, however what the stupid fools were unaware of was that the store CLOSED at 11:59pm and didn't open again til 7am! From what i've been told there was a major que come 11:59 and all were shocked to see the store close even when they were standing by the sign showing the opening times!! Ha Ha Ha :) It's little things like that which make me feel better that my copy failed to arrive this morning.
Ha ha ha; I bet it was just the sheep mentality - they saw people waiting an assumed it was legitimate, even if evidence to the contrary was staring them in the face, and no-one thought to actually ask!

I did too. Went to Asda thinking it wouldn't be too bad but nearly died when I saw 300 people. Still, was out by 12.40. Had about 3 hours sleep but can't wait to get home. Even having a massive dinner so I don't have to cook tonight. What a total loser!
Still, worth it. However my teaching has been even worse than normal...
I went to a midnight opening at my local GAME Store, traded in COD MW1 and Operation flashpoint and got the game for nothing. There was around 300 people queuing up. The way that GAME carried it out though was very good considering there was a lot of people there. They handed out raffle tickets with a number on, mine being 81 even though i arrived at 11:00 and left at 00:45, they then let people in to trade in whatever games they wanted to, put this credit on a trade in card and then were told to wait outside until the number of the raffle ticket was called. Very good way of hosting it, credit goes to the staff there, they were very polite under the pressure of PS3 and XBOX Fanboys being very eager, and were obviously dressed accordingly ( Body armour, paintball masks and fake plastic assault rifles ) But it was the first time i have ever queued up for a midnight opening, and it wasnt as bad as i thought, having a laugh with other people in the queue made it all good aswell. But the game was definetly worth the wait, i got in and only played two games of Team DM, and levelled up to Level 4, and it is bloody amazing.
Chrissy, my teaching hasn't been the greatest today seeing as I got home with the game at 12.30am and then stayed up until 4am playing the MP. Having the sex ed lady come in today and deliver 2 of my lessons was a result, although when she starting talking about pus coming out of willies, umbrellas down your willy hole and dental dams it was all a little bit disconcerting. I've got a job interview tomorrow but more concerned about levelling up. Pathetic really!
I was tempted to go with an AK47, but couldn't get my hands on one in time for the launch... So your all safe this time until you sheep line up for Call Of Duty 7.
prob none of my business, but isnt trading cod4 and operation flashpoint for a COD MW2 a awful deal... seeing how its being sold for around £30 most places????

"I was tempted to go with an AK47, but couldn't get my hands on one in time for the launch... So your all safe this time until you sheep line up for Call Of Duty 7." Wow, a troll giving us grief. The same troll that has given the game a 1 star review prior to playing it. Says it all really. I've always said it's important to ignore the opinions of idiots on here, another one to add to the massed 'ignore' ranks.
Seriously? Sheep gamers, can't you play something else? no thanks get back to playing with your p***k that you play with all the time and leave the gaming to us sheep ...and yes a real great review mate played the game then ...didn't think so
Bauer, in some eyes its an awful deal... not in mine, operation flashpoint is awful and i only bought it to kill time whilst MW2 came out, i bought that for £27 from ASDA. Im quite happy with what i got, i had gotten bored of MW1 and the maps, im just glad now that i did go at midnight as i have heard that some people wont be getting it on the release date.
"Guted Mozza - i am getting really nervous that mine wont of arrived now...... "
I'm not going home until December so I still have over a month before I can play it. However the Hardcore Edition ps3 listing has been removed from their website so I'm getting worried I won't even receive it, despite obviously pre-ordering when it was still available.

The word you were looking for was "you're" not "your"
