Recently with all of this MW2 super hype I have begun feeling slightly brainwashed. I refuse to buy the game on the basis that I didn't like COD4 or 5, yet seeing all of the hype and reading about it all the time is starting to affect my mind.
Even seeing the Sainsburrys price made me think 'That's a good price I might buy th...' I don't even want the game and I was almost tricked into buying it??? lol
Well i would buy it even without al that brainwashing cause MW is cool and i like good Shooters. But u are right the brainwashing makes it even more difficult not to buy it.
But i must confess, i bought another game first: SINGSTAR TAKETHAT. For me the NO-1-MUST-HAVE-GAME this year;).
I'm sick of MW2 already. I'm getting pressured by my mates to buy it, everywhere i turn someones talking about it, even on the radio this morning. I don't really like the COD games but feel like i should buy it just so i'm not missing out on something. If i can just survive till a week on friday then i can get AC2 and forget all about MW2.
The last game to get this much hype (GTA 4) turned out to be rubbish, at least this one will be one of the best games of the year after Uncharted 2 and Batman Arkham Asylum :)
Your reply to Joy of Division (PSN Rat_of_Division)'s post:
Yeah I know what you mean, everywhere you go MW2 is there convincing you to buy it despite everything you know in your head has told you. Even just writing the name of the game, I feel is brainwashing me lol
Just looking at the front page of the forum, and there's 14 threads that are in someway related to MW2...
I'm not buying it. Do I feel left out? Do I feel like I'm being brainwashed into getting it? Nope. All it means is I'm out of here for a few days while everyone is wetting themselves in excitement over it....
I know what you mean, i wasn't fussed about the game at all, then the hype hit me about 2 weeks ago and I had to have it. To the point where I got up at 6 to go get it from frigging Sainsbury's and waited for 35 minutes in the cold (was in the car most of the time, but it was still cold).
