 Mr. C. Davies says:
Dont worry, Im not going to try and convince the world that its dreadful, because its not, its simply stunning.

I just wanted to voice a minor gripe that I have, in that we hear all the time about how Infinity Ward are completely peerless in terms of their level design. And I agree.

So, given their talent for producing remarkable levels, why have they chosen to recreate a MAP that was in Call of Duty 2. Cant remember the name, but the one with the dead cows on, and 2 sides around a bunker with trenches.

This was one of my favourite levels in COD2, and I would have loved it as a free download or something, but not sure its what I wanted to see straight out of the box!

I have so far only seen 4 or 5 of the multiplayer maps but I hope the rest are new ones!

Bloody Good game though, say bye bye to my life for at least the next six months!

I-think-Chinatown-in-COD4-was-a-reskin-of-a-COD2-map,-never-played-COD2-but-as-you-say-as-anything-other-than-a-free-D/L-its-a-bit-cheeky.

Wasn't the CoD2 map asked for by the infinity ward community to be included in this release? They asked for it and infinity ward delivered it. I'm not too fussed, I never played CoD2 online so I've never seen this map but I assume it's a really good one.

 Mr. C. Davies says:
Like I said, im not upset that they have done it, but offer it as free DLC, rather than taking up valuable disk space that could have housed a new map!

Blu-Rays are mahoosive, they could probably fit 20 more maps on the disc and still loads of room left :D

From what I've seen, the vast majority are new maps. I certainly haven't seen any old ones making an appearance watching on JTV. I seem to remember IW saying that they were going to include the more popular maps from MW1? Did that materialise?

"I-think-Chinatown-in-COD4-was-a-reskin-of-a-COD2-map"

Chinatown was indeed a reskin of Carentan. A lesson in how to make a good map dire.

I havent seen any MW1 maps as of yet, but have only played 4 or 5. Im sure I read that there could be a few of the MW1 missions in the spec ops mode, but not sure about multiplayer yet.

LoL Davies I knew it would be you Mr Negative ;) LOL

I havent actually played the MP much, cause I thought stats were getting re set!

I do have to say though (poss spoiler) after playing 2 hours of the SP, im not blown away a touch by the numbers which I didnt expect from IF and MW2, the infamous airport mission seemed rather strange, I know ur undercover but your forced to shoot people??? surely there would have been a choice to wound people, gas them any thing, that made you look like you where fitting in to terrorist plan ect? i msure this is nit picking... and there is plenty of chance for it to get more varied and generally awesome!

i'm seriously meh about MW2. Played it for a couple of hours and stuck drakes back in. Just prefer it in every way. Will go back to MW2 but not until i'm finished with drakes.

i know one is a 3rd person adventure nd the other first person shooter, but i just couldn't get into it, constantly comparing it to drakes and feeling it fell well short.
