You will get the lower price. I buy most of my games off Amazon and I always pay the lowest price even though the mail is wrong. They usually send a mail a day or two after to confirm the lower price, and what you actually paid

"Aw right sweet, I'll hold you to that. If your wrong, i'll hunt you down"
The Amazon pre-order price guarentee has always worked for me even though the dispatched email has the wrong price - they've even told me about a 1 penny saving because of the pre-order price guarentee lol
Don't worry - it'll be fine, otherwise ten of thousands will be bombarding Amazon with complaint emails.

hey treab, so then, if the price on amazon goes up to, say, £39 or whatever, does this mean that by end of day today, you will still pay the LOWEST price, irrespective of the point at which the price was lowest was hours or days before?
sorry y'all - but have only preordered once in the past, but just trying to get my facts straight re: amazon in-between a busy work period and no time to surf to the T&C's myself.
i pre ordered MW2 from Amazon ages ago and got it delivered today, i paid £43.99. Now i've come on here tonight and its been lowered to £32.99. Because its only release day will i get the £11 pounds back even though they billed me for £43.99?? Any answers appreciated.
nonstop gamer: yes, you will - see price guarantee link on any preorder game screen. i had same concern, although in the end, i didn't preorder it from here myself. but good to know this, though, if consider preordering in future.
Hubbard / Pullinger - it should kick in as Retro has described above within a day or two. That's been my experience anyway. I'm in exactly the same situation with a COD order right now :)
