To be honest I doubt ActiBlizz will care, as they will have almost certainly sold all their stock for the same price and it will be the retailers taking the hit in order to encourage repeat business in their shop/on their site. Either way, the more people buy this game, the more likely ActiBlizz are to sell more map packs.
I wonder if Amazon will follow suit, like they did with OpFlash @ £27. I want Play to drop the price, as I have about £60 of credit to use through them.

I got Modern Warfare 2 delivered from coolshop on Saturday morning. How excited was I! The trouble was you have to go through Steam to install and play and steam won't let the game install until Tuesday 11th! Thats annoying. Before it even installs it prompts you to enter to enter the code on the manual and then tells you it is invalid. On the help forum it says quite clearly this will be the case until Tuesday. Its been sat on my desk all weekend and I can't play it!

Yep. I'm willing to give the spec-ops mode a try, as about 4 people have been pestering me to buy it, for a tenner, I'll happily trade a game I won't play for a good while again.

Missed out again £40 on coolshop - advertised at £26 initially but went up to £40 at checkout. Now back to advertised at £40.

Ordered a copy for my PS3 from Amazon at £32 - I'm happy enough with that price and will save me a 30 min drive in the morning. Got both versions for 360 and PS3 for £32 each - not as good as £26 obviously but it will do me.
