A genuine question: why do you hate so much? There is another christian on this forum who seems to have an equal amount of disdain for people, so I wonder why you both bother to participate on these forums. You seem to be more concerned about spreading a message of damnation, hell, darkness and suffering than about the love your jesus professed.

As I said: why do you hate so much?

If you claim to be honestly intellectual, logical, reasonable and open minded then prove it and be willing to listen to these testimonies.

Just had a look at that website and listened to what some had to say. Now I see where your hate comes from. You are all fired up on this stuff. The images (click on 'Jesus Pics') are the gruesome ones from 'The Passion of the Christ' - all blood, nails and agony. The graphics on the site are all flames and damnation.

You are like a 14 year old boy watching horror films - it's infecting your mind and you think it's real. Seriously, you need to get out of this situation otherwise you will do harm to either yourself or others. Can I recommend www.cultwatch.com

This is not a sarcastic post, Michael. The website you recommended above is more than a little disturbing.

I know... I just found my new desktop.

"I know... I just found my new desktop."

But at least you know it's just a film. Some may view it as a fly on the wall documentary...

What's genuinely weird is that he considers the testimonies on www.spiritlessons.com to be proof of intellectual, logical, reasonable, open-mindedness.

Michael

What Christian church do you belong to, what denomination? Are you clergy?

Who taught you Christianity, when, where?

 David A. Nelson says:
Michael, I'm not convinced you are a Christian. I think you hold to certain tenets of our beliefs as an excuse to condemn others, to vent even. But you don't seem to know love. Why do you tell people about sin and not the gospel? Don't you want them to be saved? Michael, I know sometimes people can get off on making fun of you, but you're making yourself a victim. I don't how old you are or what your life is like but go to a real church if you want to learn how to share your beliefs and, more importantly, how to heal. Alternatively, you can message me. I'd really be happy to discuss these issues with you but please, take it from someone who cares, don't keep going down the path you're going.

 M. Dale says:
Michael - seriously - 'Your day will come'?

This amounts to little more than a threat. Yes there are some personal digs, but from what I read above there is some sincere concern for you - from both atheist and theist. It can't be healthy to be so fixed on such negatives. Have a doughnut, watch some ducks. Relax.

Why do you keep repeating this same silly message? Do you seriously think it adds to the argument? Do you think anybody on here takes any notice? Haven't you got anything original of your own to say?

 Drew Jones says:
I think like this M. James' post if not for ironical value alone. Presumably with a straight face he asks for open-mindedness to genuinely seek possibilities and in the next sentence promotes wilful ignorance. It's this goofy nonsense that provides relief from his extremely disturbing second post on "The CRIMES of the militant atheist".

What does it say about Christianity and theism when the main proponents on here in recent weeks have been M. James, 'Neutral', Paul Davidson and Gabriela? Do we really need to work that hard ourselves to show up faith positions as ridiculous and out of touch?
