 Professor Platt says:
Just who are financing this party from behind the scenes?
Special Branch perhaps?
The BNP now has over 14000 party members, pretty serious stuff and collected over £ 1,500,000 last year, a staggering sum for such a party.
Anyone going to use the Freedom of Information Act to collect the names and amounts these individuals have donated to the BNP cause in the past three years?
If the BNP win some parliamentary seats in the coming election, we will then see a revolution in voting patterns towards the smaller parties. Nick Griffin has a really good chance of winning at Barking, there are already 14 BNP councillers in local seats.
I really cannot stand the bloke, but if he can win seats for the downtrodden English, that cannot be a bad thing.

 William Podmore says:
Through the EU, British taxpayers are being forced to fund the BNP, a Nazi party.
Only the EU could do something so outrageous!

 Liammons says:
Podmore,
i wonder why is that such a bad thing for you? Surely they also force us to fund you little communist apologist organisation. Aside from that personal point, why shouldn't they? If you want freedom of thought etc, it has to be just that, free to all sides of the political spectrum. If you don't like them vote them out.

 Professor Platt says:
Both good posts and both have valid points, politics can be so difficult at times to take sides. That's the good thing of a true democracy one can debate and win the argument by reason alone but at times there is NO answer or solution to a problem beyond just compromising, meeting one another in the middle ground.
