Jim Jam says:
Hi, I also think the flash is far far to bright on this camera. I got mine from Tesco and cannot find the receipt, I've been stuck with it for about 8 months now and have never been happy with it due to the flash. It seems so obviously too bright I'm surprised Samsung didn't think anything of it when they were designing it.

I often get shouted down when I opine that the firms with their roots in some form of imaging are better to deal with than those who come from a more electronics, or, even more, from a consumer electrics, background, so I shall print, frame and hang facing the toilet this tale of woe.
Samsung have a reputation of good customer services. What comment did they make when you submitted this to them?

Dr. G. Austin says:
Could you get a bit of neutral density film and tape it over the flash. You may be able to cut the light down by trial and error. Victor Blackman used to use layers of handkerchief to reduce the output of old fashioned flashes I recall.
