This is a discussion i've had many times with a friend of mine. Just how many bands are there where the bass player is also lead singer?? Seems to be a rare thing.

Phil Lynott - Thin Lizzy
Phil Lesh - Grateful Dead (not their main vocalist, but he did take the lead on a few songs)
