Browsing Amazon.com, I saw this post.
Quote:" My husband is a Hospice therapist. He has an MS patient who likes to be read to. Unfortunately, talking has grown very difficult for her. She is in her late twenties, and she would like to hear a book she once read: "It started out with a man who was transported to a kingdom and he found it very strange and coarse because the King was "all about himselfl." He didn't care about the Kingdom. He was selfish. He eventually found a woman who was in his same predicament. They both showed up in a time where they have no idea where they are. The woman is a b***. The people liked the man a lot more." It took the mother two weeks to get this much description from her daughter. I thought it sounded a little like Gabaldon, but not quite. Definitely not a children's book, she says, and not sci fi."
Sounds a bit like it could be a fantasy book. Any ideas anyone? I am pretty sure that it hasn't got anything to do with Gabaldon.
(right, having put stars where Amazon.com happily prints the whole word, lets see if I can get this posted second time round)
