I really like the climax of Mad Max 2 with the head on collision between the big Mack truck driven by Max, with the barbarian Wez clinging to the bonnet, and the vehicle driven at high speed by the warlord Humongous. One word - SPLAT!!!
Absoluteley spectacular stuntwork (well before CG started spoiling things). Totally ripped off in Neil Marshall's Doomsday by the way...

Liked in TimeCop where VanDamme booted Ron Silver's Past character into his Present and they both melted ala the T1000 in T2!

The girl whose safety belt buckle slowly fails as she is being winched from mountain peak to helicopter by Sly Stallone in 'Cliffhanger' is pretty nasty as she can see only too well what fate awaits her !!

What are you all taliking about, the best death has to be James Caan as Sonny in the Godfather as he gets ripped to pieces by gunfire at the toll booth, classic.

Jason Staham in "CRANK".
Falling down from the heli... calling his girlfriend before smashing on the street. AND Mel Gibson in "BRAVEHEART". Not a special kind of dead but a breath-taking moment in this epic movie.

Pacino in Scarface, Caan in the Godfather and the emotional and wasteful deaths of Mark lee in Gallipoli & Caviezel in the Thin Red Line take some beating. Then again, the greatest could be the bloke bouncing off the propeller in the film Titanic.)))
