I suffer with osteoarthritis and wear and tear joint stiffness and pain.
It had become impossible for me to bathe or shower until I was supplied with aides by an occupational therapist.
However, I still needed someone to support me with this as the position of the shower was impossible to reach me on the bath seat I had been supplied unless I absoluletely flooded the bathroom when I changed its position (I had to bounce the water off the opposite wall!).
The advice of the OT, when I reported this problem to her, was to purchase a suction shower head holder which I could position to suit.
I found this one on the Amazon site and it was delivered the NEXT DAY at no postage cost to me.
It was so easy to fit and use and I was so impressed that I rang the OT to recommend it to others having the same problem.
Now this simple product has changed my life. It makes such a difference being able to shower myself. The holder rotates so that I can aim it at the part of my body I am washing and I can even wash my own hair again.
Not only but also it is so much easier to shower little grandchildren and dogs (probably not at the same time) and when any one else takes a shower the shower head simply transfers back to its original holder.
Great purchase.
