well after reading all your reviews on here i have decided to try and have a look into the "Tablet" world. I have never ever owned one or even used a friends so they are completely new to me. i was basically asking for advice on how i get to an App store on it (obviously not apple) and what Apps you recommend i download and how i do it? (sorry but i aint got a clue) I would like to watch live TV and have radio stations on, will hope to play poker on it live, word would be a great bonus for work stuff, and am i able to download movies from my laptop straight on to it and do i need to download a special APP first to watch the movies?? I will be very grateful for any help you can send my way regards
There is an app store installed called Google Play Store, I think it's standard for all android devices, loads of free stuff is on there as well as apps to buy. You can watch live TV over WIFI with TVcatchup. For radio, TuneIn radio also lets you listen over the net, someone on the forums has tested some poker apps and had success.
You can download movies straight from your laptop, MXplayer is a great free app to play them (Though the tablet comes with it's own player that works OK too), MX has played anything I have thrown at it so far, including Hi Res 1080p stuff. For work stuff Kingston Office is free and installs on the latest Jellybean release, though I haven't used it yet http://www.kingsoftstore.com/kingsoft-office-android.html (You can get it through the play store).
