I bought this camera because I wanted a camera that I could tuck away in my handbag, ready for any occasion. Well I was very, VERY pleased. Not only does this tiny little camera have fantastic picture quality, but the video capability is quite amazing for something so tiny.It is so easy to use and the software package that comes with it is a joy to play with. This makes taking pictures a pure pleasure.

I've owned a Mju 35mm camera for 5 years now, and its rugged weatherproof design has been a bonus whether I've been climbing in Scotland, bouncing through the bush in Africa or taking photos whilst working under the car.
The Mju mini is built along the same lines, although the front lens cover is powered, not manual like all other Mju's I've seen (I never get tired of watching it operate) and there is an exposed screen on the back. It (the screen) hasn't been scratched yet despite the fact I've carried it round in my pocket unprotected for the last week (although I'm sure it will and so have bought a case for it - it doesn't come with one).
The camera is tiny, about the same size as the average mobile phone, hence really easy to take with you, but impossible to operate with gloves. Battery life is good, so far with regular use the battery has lasted a week, but if you are going on holiday for more than a few days I'd take the charger (the plug is on the end of a standard radio lead, and it came with an EU lead as well as the UK one).
Besides that I don't know what else there is to say, this is a fairly simple camera to operate and the video sound quality is excellent, it only comes with a 16Mb xD memory card (and only works with Olympus xD media) but it's only about £50 for a 1Gb memory card.
Ah... one thing, I would not recommend this camera for any man who is a little insecure - all my mates keep telling me it's a girls camera, then again I always have it on me, whereas anything larger would have been left in my pack (yes - that is the best come back I have, but I still think the camera's great).

This camera seem to have had some mixed reviews from a number of other sites, but I've been very pleased with it so far.

It's a nice size, small enough for a pocket, but not so tiny that you might swallow it by mistake. It has all the features you'd expect. The menu system is simple and instictive. The photo quality is very good. And with a 256MB XD card available on amazon for under a tenner you can snap yourself silly without needing to sell a kidney.

And none of my mates have said it's a girls camera. Maybe I need some more macho mates?

i actually had mine stolen a few days ago and only really realised then what a great camera it was - it's so simple to use, yet it gives great results. where with many digital cameras it is difficult to take pictures without the flash without them blurring, this camera seemed to work really well in this area, as it did not blur very much at all without flash.the great thing with this camera is it is great for both simple snapping and also for taking really good photos.i guess it must be a fairly good camera for someone to want to steal it!

I bought my mini mju just before going on holiday and have taken some great pictures with it. The battery has a long life and the picture quality is great. It is easy to use (if I can use it, it must be!!) Overall its a camera I recommend - and you can even keep it in your bag just to make sure you have it for those special moments!!
