So much easier than having your arms scratched trying to stick a tablet down your moggie's throat. This is so reasonably priced and the delivery was fast as well.

This was one of those products that I bought on Amazon without giving due regard to the other reviews.

Something just wasn't right after we applied it and it did not react well with our cats skin.

The reason for the 2 stars is that it worked for a short amount of time but I would not but this again.

Unfortunately I did not read reviews on other sites before applying this product to my cats. As many other pet owners have reported online, one of my cats started foaming at the mouth after having licked their fur a while after applying it, freaking out and not calming down until we had washed his mouth out repeatedly with water. My other cat seemed fine until a few hours later when her fur fell out and she was left with a nasty skin burn where the drops were placed. We followed the instructions provided very carefully, so it not a case of misuse. They are now both being treated by the vet. Other reviews on this product have reported many deaths from poisoning and repeated accounts of vets knowing this is problem and telling clients not to use the product. According to some online sources, the products are being investigated. I am just hoping that both cats recover from these effects and am concerned that well-respected retailers are either not aware of the problems or not warning customers of the possible adverse reactions as this is not a new thing. The only reason I've given this 1 star is because Amazon doesn't allow 0 stars!

Having read the reviews and risk on this I would recommend all cat owners to read up on the product before using it - this made both of our cats quite uncomfortable and they scratched the application site A LOT...

I have decided not to use this on my cat, I ordered it without reading the reviews as I did with the spot on for fleas, my cat has had a bad reaction to the Bob martins flea and tick product, bald patch on the back of her neck which looks prett sore, thank goodness I read the reviews for this product before I appied it!!!! Take it down off Amazon, it could possibly kill your cat! I've included a picture of what the flea and tick treatment has done to my cats neck, all of what I've bought will be going in the bin!!!

Just used this product on my 6 month old kitten and it burnt her skin, she's a sphynx so I could clearly see where it had gone and burnt her, I quickly washed it all off but her skin is still red and blistered. Whatever you do don't buy this product.

I thought it might be worth entering here how I had a similar situation of poisoning with my cat following Hertz worm treatment. It said on the box to use one day and then again the following day. Following the second treatment my poor cat started twitching and looking very distressed and I thought he was dying! He was so scared he walked around and around endlessly which was his way of coping with feeling unwell. I contacted the vet and he said that the second dose was too much and constituted an overdose. I contacted Hertz who denied all responsibility. I'm not sure if they are still operating but in case they are I suggest you avoid them. I had to click on one star for the Bob Martin product because I wouldn't have been able to warn people about Hertz otherwise. I've never used the Bob Martin Wormer and I won't be using it having read the reviews on here. I am very grateful to the people who left the warning so thank you to all for making the effort.

I used it his on my 3 year old cat last week, and it has left him with a third degree burn and baldness in the area it was applied. It's cheap for a reason, I advise everyone to research all products they use on their pets, and don't take the chance like I did.
