Was checking for a good waterproof jacket for a while and couldn't see a style, colour and make that I liked. I spotted this on Amazon for half price and thought I'd go for the XXL (usually need XL) as some sizes are smaller than others. I'm glad I did as this fits me perfect. I'm 6ft 2" 16st and 46" chest and it couldn't be a better fit, It's close fitting with just the right amount of space to wear the right amount of layers underneath. I like everything about it, I have plenty of fleeces so didn't need a 3-1 type. Great design with plenty of pockets all sealed. The hood is great and keeps you dry without falling down over your eyes. Had it on for about 3 hours in constant rain out in the Scottish hills and felt great, kept me completely dry and its flexible and light to wear. Highly recommended.

I'll start off with the potentially iffy part. I'm quite broad shouldered and its quite well fitted in this area so if your unsure with a size best go one up.

Its a very good jacket being pretty much the right size everywhere and being what seems very waterproof. I've worn it in all degree's of sideways rain and its held up well. The hood is wired to help it sit properly and the pockets are plentiful.

Overall a very good jacket to the price range.

I bought this jacket to replace my 8 year old Berghaus jacket, I have to say having used it in earnest over the last 2 days in torrential rain it's easily stood up to everything that's been thrown at it, I recently bought my Wife the equivalent Berghaus jacket which cost nearly twice as much, the only difference (apart from colour) appears to be the weight with this Craghoppers jacket being heavier, maybe come the winter I maybe glad of that attribute, it's possibly the only criticism I have, having recently done a lot of walking in the Lake district and hardly used it, it spent most of it's time in the rucksack so took up a bit of space and added more weight than I would have wished but I must add it wasn't a big issue from my point of view, one quirk I do like are the cuffs can come right over your hands if you wish (or round the wrist with velco) being a dog walker this can be useful to keep the hands warm and dry when the dogs are on the leads. As you can probably spot from the pictures it has plenty of pockets.

I've rated this product as 5 star, I dare say there are better quality jackets out there but I would be amazed if you got anything as good in this price range.

Great jacket, it was comfortable and practical with all the pockets and the hood is designed well to keep the rain off. I bought the jacket because I was climbing Ben Nevis and needed something waterproof and warm. The jacket did exactly what I needed.

It's a decent waterproof jacket and it matches my Background trousers. The Large size fits me ok with 44" chest over a mid layer. Sleeves presume you are an orang-utan.

Bought this for my son and he wore it as one of his layers in his recent Everest Base Camp trek. He has not complained so reckon it must have done the job very well.

Great coat. Very waterproof. The main problem is that the colour is a dirt magnet !! I did not realise that stains would show up so easily. However, easy to clean.

A great jacket with one exception: the sizing. I have purchased Craghoppers clothing in the past, so I knew to buy one size up. However, the jacket was still too tight in the armpit area. The logo was the old style Craghoppers/Bear Grylls logo, which is much less obtrusive than the new BG logo. I was so disappointed when I sent this back, I had been looking for this jacket in orange for years.
