Wrong! All the Clips and Fuzes have sleep function. Perhaps Martin W doesnt own a Clip, or just hasnt browsed through its functions. I always use the sleep function whilst listening to audio at night so as not to run down the battery.
Is it worth me replacing my Sony Walkman cassette player for the Sansa? At the moment I can record a one hour radio programme on to tape on my hi fi, take it to bed and let it run its length when it will automatically turn off. To improve on this I would need to record direct into the Sansa, take it to bed, listen to the recording and for it to switch off automatically. My grandchildren say "get with it grandpa" but I need convincing by some one who is "with it" that I really do.
Cor blimey, a sony walkman cassette player!! I think you should definitely upgrade so long as you are prepared to leap into the computer age. Get those grandchildren working for you and setting it all up for you. Your radio programme might be a podcaste and the radio on the Sansa clip is good too. As for the Sansa itself, I am very happy with mine. Love the clip and the sleep function works well, if a little annoying if I happen to still be awake when it goes of! still that does not happen often.
