1.0 out of 5 stars expensive 10 Dec 2010
I am a little disapointed with the product, the slots for plates are not wide enough to hold my dinner plates, more than 2 plates and they fall over. The drain hole doesn't empty so the well holds water. I would say this is a design fault. So based on this the product is overpriced as I would say it not fit for purpose.

I have no complaints with the seller delivery was quick and item well packaged.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not fit for purpose 12 Feb 2012
By Lady_K
We bought our first one of these in the Autumn of last year and the moveable draining channel broke within a couple of weeks - the screw attaching it simply snapped in half. It had been doing a fairly decent job, so we accepted a replacement, which a couple of months on, has also broken (same issue). The cutlery holder has a design fault - the drainage holes are opposite the side that attaches to the rack so you either have to accept water will drain away onto your work surface, defeating the object of having a drainage set up to pour into the sink OR put the cutlery holder inside the drainer, limiting the amount of space left for your washing up. Gunk quickly collects in the drainage channel at the bottom and once disconnected, the removable drainage part is hellish to refix - we treated our very delicately given it's fragile nature.

It is a nice idea poorly executed (a bit like our kitchen worktop which has a sink but no drainer, hence our need for something like this) and I am returning our to the shop we bought it from next week. Fortunately they offer a lifetime refund guarantee...

5.0 out of 5 stars Dish drainer 1 Jun 2009
Just what I wanted, small enough to sit comfortably on the draining board. This is a very well made product and ideal for one person.

An excellent purchase. Really recommend this dish drainer. No faults at all. Love it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Total waste of money 23 May 2011
I was very disapointed by this dishrack.
It does not work with slightly raised Belfast style kitchen sinks as its legs are too short. This means that in order for the spout to drain in the sink the front legs of the dishrack do not touch the worktop. This makes the whole contrivance tilt towards the back causing the water to be drained at the back of the drainer instead of through the spout at the front and thus totally defeating its purpose...
The fact that the water drains at the back appears to be a design fault as it should be water tight
A total waste of money

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for a small kitchen 3 Oct 2009
Verified Purchase
I already own and love the larger version. I gave this smaller one to my son, because the larger one would not have fitted on to his draining board. Despite not having the knife rack that I find really useful, my son would highly recommend this rack. For my part I would say, buy the larger one, if at all possible!
