I have been trying to copy some DVD files from USB to sdflash but it keeps crashing. It has handled transfers of less than a GB so was wondering if there is something about file size transfers. I have tried two diffent file managsbut still no success.
Seems to fine copying to internal memory but still won't transfer to SD card.
Hi R.E, if the card is formatted to FAT32 it can't handle individual files bigger than 4gig. The NTFS file system can handle files larger than 4 gig.
Some one else had a different problem with a card not seating properly and it was fixed by taking the card out and then putting it back in again. try un-mounting the card, taking it out, putting it back and mounting again (You do the unmount/mount from storage in the settings menu). You could also try erasing the card (I think it's the android equivalent of a format), you can do that from the same menu too.
What make is the card? Just might be good for feedback as other people have had trouble with some cards.
Also if you have a card reader, you could run it through a complete slow format in windows to the NTFS file system and see if it does any good.
Just some stuff to try really, hope you have some success...
