Run's on any Mac - as this is just a HDD Caddy

runs on any Mac OS 10.X runs on Windows runs on Linux too. Also this runs really quick with my MBPr with USB 3.0.

Recent Macs will probably have problems because of sudden disconnects of the drive. It says 'Not Apple Compatible' and that is a good description.

I am not using OS-X but I found this working well attached to a NAS via USB 3.0

Personally I'm using a PC not a Mac so cannot really answer other than to say that I've also read reviews that this product is not Mac compatible. If you are an Apple Mac user then I would seek out alternatives.
