Much better than the electric hovers I've always used.
NBosch ASM32 Electric Cylinder LawnmowerNo mess unless you overfill the collection box. A little more effort to push. I can't really notice the "stripes" but the blades catch those awkward grass shoots much better than a rotary blade.

After assembling the mower which was quite simple I started up and it cut the first run up the lawn no problem. Turned the corner to come back and heard a loud crack and one of the front wheels came rolling off!
I sritched off and looked underneath and the assemley holding the two front whells was cracked and broken right through.
I called Bosch and the sent a courier to pick up the mower which was good. One week letter I had a repair estimate of £85! I immediately phoned Bosch and they said it was broken due to impact damage, probably being dropped!
I have argued with them until I was blue in the face with no joy. Why would you want to carry a mower around anyway in order to drop it?
Very annoyed I am out of pocket over this, but have now bought another make.
In my opinion this is made from cheap plastic not fit for the job. I will be very intersted to see if others have this problem.

Not a bad little lawnmower, I do however find the mains cable rather short and so end up having to have an additional extention lead halfway down the lawn to be able to run up and down. It does however lack a mains laid splitter unlike Flymos where you connect the mains lead onto a short flylead at the mower end. which means that you have to go back to the mains socket when you want to disconnect for safety whilst removing grass from within the mower.

I only have a small lawn so the mower is adequate for the job.It is light and easy to handle and was easy to put together on arrival.The grass box is easy to remove and holds quite a lot of grass.There is no cable storage so it is quite hard to keep it under control.
Probably the lightweight nature of the product makes the appearance of good stipes not as good as other models and for the same reason it is doubtful if there will be a decent lifespan.The cut so far has been quite good but will still need a bit of adjustment (which is quite easy) to make it more even.Having searched I dont think there is a better cylinder mower for the money but there will be better cylinder mowers.

Really happy with this lawnmower. Cuts well and the rear grass collector is great. I used to have a mower with a front collector which kept falling off and meant I couldn't get close to borders.

This mower provides a much better cut than my previous hover mower. It is also much more quiet than my previous mower. Set up is quite straight forward, with the possible exception of the collection box, but once snapped together properly it works a treat.

I should have listened to the BAD reviews given to the Bosch (Qualcast) ASM32 Electric Cylinder Lawnmower. My 15 years old Wolf rotary lawnmower has a better grass cut & handling than this brand new Bosch cylinder mower. I have purchased numerous Bosch devices in my lifetime, this has got to be their worst product ever !!
