5.0 out of 5 stars I AM MEGATRON!!!
Now my child got me watching transformers for the first time in many years (im now 23) and with that I took an interest to their toys. I thought maybe they'd be good for problem solving and look as good as the movies machine themselves. Man, was I surprised at how good the thing is.

This is the Revenge of the fallen Leader Class Megatron. He's a big 13 inch...

1.0 out of 5 stars A Big Disappointment
I have bought three of these and each one suffers from the same problem.

When a tank, the one set of tracks always popped out with a very light touch or pressure. This for us was a big deal, as there were wheels on the bottom of these tracks which obviously meant that the tank should travel smoothly on the ground. With the popped out track, the tank fell...

5.0 out of 5 stars I AM MEGATRON!!!, 16 July 2009

Now my child got me watching transformers for the first time in many years (im now 23) and with that I took an interest to their toys. I thought maybe they'd be good for problem solving and look as good as the movies machine themselves. Man, was I surprised at how good the thing is.

This is the Revenge of the fallen Leader Class Megatron. He's a big 13 inch tall Decepticon (bad guys). He comes fully equiped with missile launcher, big stabby sword (which is made of soft bendible plastic don't worry), flashing lights and sounds. He also transforms into an Alien Flying Tank... yes an Alien Fying Tank!!! Safe to say my kid loves it.

Now the beauty of this beast {see what I did there...} is not just the awesome model design, flashing lights etc but the fact for his size he is extremely easy to transform. He takes half the time of the Other Leader class toys which makes him VERY kid friendly because frankly the big ones aren't really for kids (well maybe big kids :P) due to their complex transformations and little bits.

He basically involves straightening his legs over his body, moving his back up into an upright position and packing his arms ontop of his head. This gives kids more playing time and less headaches for parents.

He is nice and bulky (but not heavy), not made with cheap plastic that is easily breakable like some others. He has (like most recent transformer toys) the ability to pop his joints off to avoid being broken which is fantastic, a quick poke and the joint can be reattached. Saves for less broken toys.

Overall this is a great big robot sized kids dream. He's easy to work, not too heavy and packs a few awesome features. My kid LOVES him and quite frankly beats the cheap Ben 10 toys I'v previously bought him.

Worth every penny! :)

1.0 out of 5 stars A Big Disappointment, 7 Oct 2009

I have bought three of these and each one suffers from the same problem.

When a tank, the one set of tracks always popped out with a very light touch or pressure. This for us was a big deal, as there were wheels on the bottom of these tracks which obviously meant that the tank should travel smoothly on the ground. With the popped out track, the tank fell apart. There was no way my children could play with this.

As I say, this was with all three purchases. The first one was bought on Amazon. They replaced this extremely quickly. The replacement was also flawed. I got a refund.

Thinking it might be a bad batch, I went to my local Argos but the same thing happened and I immediately got a refund.

My ten-year old son (who has many transformers and prides himself on being an expert at transforming his and friends toys) observed that the one track has a different design for the bit that clicks in. It is shorter.

So, unfortunately this has been a big hassle and a big disappointment.

Very satisfied, even though its made of plastic its very impressive to look at. takes easily a hour or 2 to transform. instructions aren't that clear. was quick to arrive.
