FAB!!!
Remington S9950 U51 Shine Therapy Conditioning Hair Straightener My GHDs died on me,,so i needed a replacement. I brought this item and it work just as good as GHDs. It glided so easily and didnt tug my hair like some straighteners do!My hair is smoother but the downside is that it take more than 30 seconds to heat up! i do recommend thsi product!!

Good but Faulty
I bought these straightners after they sounded so good and I liked the colour. They are really great and does what it says, however I have now started to have trouble with them and they seem to take ages in heating up sometimes they don't heat up at all and I have to revert to my previous irons which are not as good. I will say that when they do work they are great and...

Are As Good As GHD's At Less Than Half The Price!, 13 Dec 2008

These are the best hair straighteners I've ever had. They're equally as good as GHD's at less than half the price! They heat up quickly and glide smoothly through your hair whilst straightening or curling (whichever style you go for!) The only thing I find a bit annoying is where the temperature and on and off buttons are situated on the front of the straighteners. While I'm using them, its very easy to press either the temperature button or the on/off switch by mistake. They try to get round that problem by putting a lock feature on, so you can lock it at a certain temperature, but its just extra hassle to have to do that. I've noticed most hair straighteners make the same mistake by having the buttons on the front. However the last ones I had, the buttons were on the side and you had to press them hard to change the settings, which was much better. Message to Remington - Put the buttons on the side next time!

Bought by husband as xmas present, excellent! Straighten my own thick, shoulder length hair with ease & with no need to section. Result, glossy, straight hair that lasts for a couple of days with no frizz! No negatives, would highly recommend.

I've got fine hair that most people would consider straight. Though, as soon as it's dried it starts to curl in different directions at the ends, and my grown out fringe stands out everywhere... It usually gets even worse when I go outside, any moist in the air and it's frizzy and all over the place.
After using the Remington Shine Therapy my hair is perfectly straight, shiny and soft. I'm hoping that I won't have to use too much styling products anymore, since that weighs down my hair a lot.
I love it already, even though I just got it, and I'm almost longing for the next time I can use it. A plus is the cute colour too :)

This is an excellent pair of straighteners well worth the money. After using it i notice that my hair is more shiny and silky to touch. Normally after using straighteners my hair is corse and has a rough feeling. These straighteners glide through the hair so easily. They also heat up so quick which is good if you are in a hurry.
Excellent item well worth the buy am buying the hair dryer next.

After 5 years of GHD and 3 straighteners later - I felt it was time for a change. I never thought any straightener would exceed GHD's but I was wrong. These straighteners are fantastic! They are excellent value for money, have a 5 year guarantee. They have a variable temperature but heat up to 230 degrees the same as GHD's - your hair feels fantastic. I am sure that there are hundreds of people reading this who are still not convinced - just like I was when I read the other reviews - but after the continued break down of GHDS's I really felt I needed to take a chance on a another straighter and model. I am so pleased I have and would recommend these to anyone.

Think hedge, coarse, thick frizzy hair a nest a bird would be happy to live in. That just about sums up my hair! Since using these straighteners my hair is soft, sleek and looks great. As it has a 230 degree temp it means you can do your hair in no time. Fantastic product and at that price you wont be disappointed.

I got these for Christmas after researching them endlessly and deciding not to spend £100 on ghds. They are fantastic - I had a pair of Kodos before (almost twice the price of these) but these are much better - heat up quickly, go easy on my hair and give great results. They also have a 5 year guarantee! After reading the reviews on ghds and them blowing up/not lasting very long etc I decided to go for these and am so pleased I did. Really easy to use and come with a nice heat proof silver pouch as well! Highly recommended.

I love the colour and the way they heat up so quickly. Easy to use and leave your hair so shiny due to the inbuilt conditioners. Just one thing to watch for though, the buttons are in the way when using the device and can easily change the setting to a higher temperature without you realising.
