Bought this to replace an Electrolux Glider.
What a difference.
The machine is about the same size and weight but mechanically far superior. Roller/belt seem more substantial and better fitted.
Although a smaller dust bin, the main filter sits well above this and does not appear to clog so easily as the Electrolux.
It really sucks - even tight up against a wall it picks up very close to the skirting board.
I went over the same carpets which had been cleaned the previous day by the Electrolux and filled the bin with no effort. My sons noticed that the carpets seemed much nicer to walk on afterwards (pile had revived!)
Provided the roller height is set correctly it is an effortless job.
Quieter too.
The hose is quite stretchy and so far does not appear to pull the machine over.
The filters are all close density sponge rubber and easily washable.
The rubber bumpers are quite soft and kinder to skirting boards and furniture.
There is a neat little gizmo which changes colour when the filter needs washing and suck is reduced.
All in all, a very good machine so far.
