A Boomin' good experience, 3 Nov 2003
I purchased the Z-640 set about a year ago now and by far they have been one of the best purchases!!
I had previously been duped by a set of Philiph that had nearly fried my computer due to being faulty. So when I decided to foot up the extra and invest in Logitech I was more than pleased with my decision.
They were quick and easy to install - all the cables are colour coded! And in next to no time I was chilling out to a dvd with the base booming - and my does it boom!
The sound quality is amazing - much better than most hi-fi's! So if you're gonna invest in a sound system choose this one 'cause I know that I'd buy it over again!!!

Great Value For Money, 4 Aug 2004
I got these for a whooping £43 here on amazon, and that is great value compard to everywhere else. PC world i think had it for £60, and else where about £50.Considering the price - this system is excellant, you're paying not much money for a well packaged system, and the quality of the speakers are not shabby either. The performance - although the bass woofer is powerful, still lacks a lil more ooomph! But, consdering the price, you can't expect too. I am so pleased with this - definetely one of the best buys i have got. However, amazon says 1-2 weeks for it to be dispatch, i recieved mine after one month - but i think this was because due to shortage. It was all worth it in the end!

My gosh Logitech do it again, 26 May 2004
These are great speakers and I’m not just saying that (I don’t know why I would, but I’m not!) They are great value for money compared to other 5:1s.
If living with other people you better get used to the complaints and if you turn them up enough, the ringing in the ears, but who cares about them when you’ve got a lovely set of speakers.

Nice speaker set, awesome bass., 9 Jan 2004
i got this set of speakers, the subwoofer is wallshaking, the closets and doors were all clattering when i turned the bass full. The satellite speakers aren't as crisp as my old flat panel speakers but that might be due to my crappy sound card.
Oh and they give you an adapter to plug onto your playstation2 inputs.

It's pretty good, but it has some snags, 25 Oct 2004

For the money this is a great system. The problem I find is that you cant use the Dolby 5.1 on anything but a computer because of the kind of connectors it uses. The only thing you can use is Pro Logic II on anything that doesnt have the 3 micro-plug jacks.
