5.0 out of 5 stars This book has changed my life
I am honestly not exaggerating when I say that this book has changed my life and has transformed my children's diet. I am mum to four children aged 7 months to 5 years and have had to battle with fussy eating for some time now. Our children were determined to turn into the anti-veg and anti-meat brigade, surviving on a diet of bread and baked beans. I was quickly running...

3.0 out of 5 stars good basics
If you really need help with the basics this is a great book for you. I already have Annabel Karmel's book and found it more helpful. But still very useful.

4.0 out of 5 stars easy recipes!, 3 Nov 2009
This book is brilliant-it is full of easy, simple to follow recipes and I use it often. My only critisim is that the recipes don't have overall "cooking" times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, fantastic, LOVE IT!, 8 Sep 2009
This really is a fantastic recipe book, I use it all the time and have passed many recipes on to friends and family, it is starting to look very worn due to it being used so much. all families need this book well worth every penny!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brillant Book, 25 Jun 2009
This book is fantastic, the layout is very clear and it is very informative. I have a 7 year old and she has loved to join in and make the recipes - and eaten them all! The recipes are quick and easy with not a lot of fuss, good for parents who are looking for new healthy ideas.
I would highly recommend this book to all parents who are struggling to inspire their children to eat different foods. There is also a great menu planner which has really helped us..... Brillant well done Netmums.

5.0 out of 5 stars Feeding my kids, 12 Jun 2009
I am so glad I bought this book. I was getting a bit bored with the other books I have and needed a change. My children and hubby aren't really fussy eaters but are not adventurous in any way. So I was looking for variations on my favourites. This book did exactly what I needed. The instructions are simple to follow and the ingredients are easy to find. There's a nutritional guide for each recipe, using red, orange and green to indicate the different levels of salt, sugar etc. There are comments from mums about the recipes, giving suggestions or just saying how good it is. Each recipe has variations. So if one food isn't liked it says what would be a good substitute. This book is well worth the money. I would definitely recommend this book if you are feeling a bit stuck trying to think of things to give your family for dinner.

4.0 out of 5 stars Foolproof - you bet!, 30 April 2009

I've been a fan of the Netmums website for some time and have tried some of the recipes on there so thought it made sense to buy the book. It now lives on my kitchen bench and contains some great ideas for quick, easy and healthy family meals and snacks. There is a traffic light system for the nutritional content of each recipe which is helpful and there are lots of suggestions for variations. Well worth the money for busy mums struggling with the continual cry of "What's for tea tonight...."

5.0 out of 5 stars The Title is So Appropriate!, 11 April 2009
This book has the most delicious recipes and they are incredibly easy to follow. My husband loves spicy foods and to accommodate him I just adapt the recipes with a little bit of chili powder! The recipes are also relatively cheaply assembled.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! Highly recommended, 30 Mar 2009
By Love_to_read (Cambridge) - See all my reviews
I haven't had this book very long but am pleased to say I've already got my moneys worth! In fact I plan my weekly meals around the book - with simple, but yummy easy to make recipes - very easy to follow with ingredients you are likely to already have in the cupboard - I've found the book invaluable and it's already the most used cookbook in my kitchen! My son has loved everything I've cooked from it so far - and there's also great ideas for baking together, with tips of variation if there are particular ingredients you want to avoid! It's great, I can't praise it enough - buy buy buy!!!
