The racing drivers pocket book,
This review is from: The Racing Driver's Pocket-Book (Hardcover)
128 pages of contemporary motoring racing articles written between 1906 and the mid 50's, including a large chunk of Paul Frere's 1963 book Driving a racing car. By it's conception all the information in the book is out of date, in the circuits section, half them are no longer used, and of the half that still are, most have been modified. But that is the point of the book, not a comprehensive history, but a series of snapshots, to give the reader a taste of the foundations of modern motor racing, well the small amount I paid for it.
