Another good book from Pratchett, the story captures you quite quickly - Tiffany Aching is a fantastic character it has to be said. But I felt that the villain of the piece was very underplayed (although this is actually an integral part of the story) and the 'plot' was actually tagged on to the real story of watching Tiffany grow as a character. Thankfully, the Wee Free Men were able to distract me from this fact throughout most of the book and it only really hit me right at the end that I didnt really care about the main plot. Overall it's a great book and immensely readable but may herald a new era of Pratchett books where the plot is definitely second feeling to the characters.
