This review is from: The Complete Sherlock Holmes (Collector's Library Editions) (Hardcover)
"The Complete Sherlock Holmes" is a splendid big volume containing the whole Canon, with a good selection of the Strand Magazine illustrations and a foreword by David Stuart Davies. It's a lovely production: full-cloth binding, all gilt edges, head and tail bands, ribbon marker, and section-sewn. My only adverse criticisms are that no artists but Sidney Paget are credited, though at least six illustrated the stories after his death in 1908 (and one of Josef Friedrich's pictures has replaced Paget's in "A Scandal in Bohemia"), and that some illustrations are a mite grey and fuzzy. Over all, this is a beautiful book, a pleasure to handle and a pleasure to read.

Why on earth is this otherwise splendid review being used for the complete audio cd collection??

And why is it also being used for the cheaper hardback version of the book? All of the comments regarding the quality of the book itself are irrelevant.
