Thoroughly Bad Egg,
This review is from: Jim Morrison: Life, Death, Legend (Paperback)
Jim Morrison sounds like a thoroughly bad egg according to Stephen Davis's biography in Ebury - Leif Garrarret for the 1960's

So that's your comment on Jim Morrison. What about the book? How about you review the subject matter, not the subject. All of your reviews are the same.... If you don't like the subject, then the item (cd, dvd or book) is automatically crap. Don't bother reviewing for the sake of words. You have facebook friends for that.

In the absence of any explanation as to WHY you deem this excellent biography to be worthy of only one star, I can only conclude that your review is nothing more than an assertion of your personal feelings about Jim Morrison, i.e. as depicted in the book, rather than an assessment of whether the product itself is any good or not. With respect, this review is therefore as unhelpful as it is inconsiderate, not to mention being potentially misleading for other customers, and it's unfair to bring down the overall star-rating in this manner.
We all have our likes and our dislikes, and there seems to be little doubt that Jim Morrison was something of a controversial character to say the least. However, just because you consider him to be a 'bad egg', this doesn't mean that the product itself it at fault, and the whole point of these reviews is to help other customers make informed choices about their purchases. It would therefore be nice if people put a little more thought into their reviews rather than treating them like an off-the-cuff Twitter entry.
