Poweful but not for everyone

This review is from: Club 3D Radeon HD 7870XTV JokerCard Graphic Card (Accessory)
Switched from a HIS Radeon HD 7870 to this one and while I got the 10-15% performance boost I expected there were tradeoffs, namely temperature and noise. It is quiet enough when idling but during games and especially when stressed hard (Bitcoin mining) the temperatures and noise are much higher that with a 7870. With my previous card I rarely saw power consumption exceeding 200 W measured from the wall outlet with this one I can easily get over 250 W.
So good for gaming on a budget, just make sure you can handle the noise and temps.
