This review is from: Aerobie AeroPress Coffee Maker (Kitchen & Home)
I am a huge fan of this product & have used it for a year - maybe its just me but I found the coffee lost some strength making it in the way described.
I do think the coffee needs some time in the water to produce a really good cup, with the method described you're trying to turn ground coffee into instant.
Therefore I now use this product upside down - look at the picture in the ad, and simply imagine it turned upside down. Place the plunger right at the bottom, drop the coffee in, pour on the water and leave for 2 minutes. Now screw on the filter & cap and invert over the cup - it is a tribute to the product that it is stable & efficient used like this.. Plunge as normal - now that's a cup of coffee!
