Sniper on the eastern front,
This review is from: Sniper on the Eastern Front: The Memoirs of Sepp Allerberger, Knight's Cross (Kindle Edition)
This book is apparently the true story of Sepp Allerbergers career as a sniper on the Eastern front.
The general historical events are probaly accurate but his adventures are written in the style of a second rate novel.
It is extremely tiresome to read.
Wounds "spray blood like fountains". Peoples heads "Explode like over ripe watermelons". He is able to stop battalions of attacking Russions merely by waiting until they are within 1oo meters and then shooting the commander. Where apon they all run away and his regiment is saved.
Waste of time .
