Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Tree Fu Tom Ultimate Tom (Toy)
I ordered this toy for my son's birthday. Having bought some of the smaller Tree Fu Tom figures and finding out how poorly made they were I was a bit hesitant about ordering this one. Thankfully, this toy is well made and has been played with everyday with no bits falling off it. The figure is articulated and poseable although his joints were a little stiff at first. If you hold Tom horizontally as if he is flying the music from the TV show starts to play. I'm quite impressed with the voice of Tree Fu Tom, rather than sounding tinny and cheap it is clear and is the very voice from the TV show. Tom's Sapstone belt and Holopax glow brightly and with a press of a button Tree Fu Tom's wings pop out. Tom measures 26cm tall which is just over 10 inches.

Hi, my son's Tree Fu Tom is still working fine which is amazing since he is often rough with his toys. The toy repeating the sayings over and over again might be because the batteries are low, did you try and replace them? Also, if you do decide to order one from Amazon and something goes wrong with it - Amazon will replace the toy or offer you a refund. It may just be that you where unfortunate and picked up a defective toy. I hope you have better luck if you do decide to buy another Tree Fu Tom.

Hi, earlier I asked my son if Tree Fu Tom's wings have ever fallen off and he said no. However, later on he showed me that the green cover over Tree Fu Tom's Wings can be pulled off and pushed back on again - but it never drops off. I examined the green cover and it has 2 small prongs that slide into Tom's back, I can see how this green cover would keep dropping off if the little plastic prongs got damaged. I've told my son not to keep pulling it on and off just in case he damages it.

I bought tree fu tom for my grandson for Christmas and we had the same problem, the cape and wings kept falling off and he lost the cape. If they stay on Amazon's, I am tempted to order one for him as he loved it.

Hi, my son's Tree Fu Tom is still in perfect working order. However, the cape on Tom's back can easily be pulled off thus exposing his wings - although Tom's wings have never dropped off. I doubt that this toy is any different from the Tree Fu Tom you purchased before and you may have the same problem. I can only vouch for the Tree Fu Tom that my son owns, but it seems that more than a few people have experienced problems with the wings dropping off. If you do decide to buy another and the same happens again you can always get a refund from Amazon.
