The Boy Turned Bad,
This review is from: Pretties for You (Audio CD)
Well it was the sixties and they were all doing it. Alice Cooper did their obligatory Beatles impersonation. Sergeant Pepper it aint but it does really come across a bit some three decades later. "Reflected". is the only real indicator of things to come. But everywhere else this flowery affair is all about people "who very rarely worry almost contantly, who don't try hard, who've found a way to live with ease." I love this young Alice for whom living is only one part of being, for whom you are a positive thing.
No need to worry about the sinister keyboards that surface occasionally, just necesary rain for the garden to grow. The boy turned bad down Galveston way, or was it Texas or was it Canada but the genius was their from the very begining. Can't give it five stars cause all the thirty something youngsters weaned on "Poison" will want their money back. Forbidden fruit only for the chosen few.
