This review is from: Prime Cut [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC] (DVD)
PRIME CUT is, in my opinion, a highly under-rated film with an impressive cast. One of Lee Marvin's best performances with Gene Hackman putting in his patented, slimy villain performance (you know, where one wants to see Hackman die!). Top notch action which gets more tense as the story unfolds. A highly unusual film where one is rooting for a mob hitman over another criminal!

I have a region-free Panasonic recorder/player that plays anything from America or the UK (that is, NTSC or PAL). I have a discontinued Pioneer LCD (about 3 years old), which, with my ancient Hitachi TV, never had any problem showing NTSC disks or tapes -and automatically adjusting scan & frequency rates. Check your Bravia manual and see what it says about viewing NTSC-sourced material. In all probability, it will play perfectly. NTSC disks are pretty common now.
