5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent tablet - after the OTA update fixed the touchscreen issues, 17 July 2014

This review is from: Sony Xperia Z2 10.1 inch Tablet (Black) - (Qualcomm 2.3GHz, 3GB RAM, 32GB Memory, Google Android 4.4) (Personal Computers)
Less than a week after purchasing this tablet it developed a touch screen issue on the right hand side of the screen. The "MultiTouch Test" app on the play store confirmed the problem by showing a loss of response from one or more fingers in contact with the screen. This turned out to be a software problem (and not hardware as some reviews on the internet say) and Sony fixed it in a patch release. I was going to return this but decided to stick with it and I'm pleased that I did as it's a very nice tablet; stylish, excellent performance and battery life via the 'stamina' mode.

I've not tested the waterproof features yet but the kids have given it a good test and so far it hasn't faltered.

It may be a faulty tablet. However Sony have released a system update to repair the touch screen problems and have admitted there was a minor problem, with its sensitivity on its software. If your still having problems contact Sony via http://services.sony.co.uk/support/en/contacts/email
