Unusual Forces at Work,
This review is from: Ghost of a Smile. Memories from a Medium's Life (Kindle Edition)After reading 'A Beard in Nepal' by Fiona Roberts, which I enjoyed immensely, I noticed her latest book 'Ghost of a Smile'. The content seemed totally different but I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. As a medium was a new topic I must say I learned a lot and had my eyes opened.
The pace was fast from her earliest memory of being aware of unusual things as an infant to her present 'career' doing readings. It was especially fascinating to read about her encounter in Paris where she had her first ever reading with Madame Grandon who lived in a tiny apartment crammed with furniture and also the experience when she was walking home from the vet in tears with the ashes of Harry (her beloved old English sheep dog)and an acquaintance later phoned to see if she was all right as she'd seen her on the street with Harry at her side - proof that animals live on in the spirit world.
There are interesting twists and revelations throughout the book and as an introduction to the life of a medium it is well worth reading.
