You Can't Handle the Tooth,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
The different brands of electronic toothbrush vary in price greatly, you could easily spend over £100 if you wished, or go for something at the cheaper end. Price is not everything, like Gillette razors, Braun believes in selling their toothbrushes cheap upfront in the hopes they sell a lot of toothbrush heads at a later date. Here lies the `Braun Oral-B Professional Care 600 Rechargeable Toothbrush', a very reasonable priced electronic toothbrush, but is it as high a quality as some of the more expensive devices available?
The simple answer is no. `Oral B 600' is a very basic brush; it switches on when you press the button and switches off when you press it again. However, this is pretty much all you want from a toothbrush so there is no faulting it there. I have used brushes that have programmes which change the pitch and ferocity of the brushing, but I ended up using their basic functions every time. As a basic toothbrush `Oral B 600' does a decent job, but it does struggle slightly to maintain torque. Moving it around your mouth can sometime cause it to slow down as it does not quite have the power I need.
The device has good build quality and comes with the floss style heads that both clean and floss at the same time. Personally, I don't think they make a huge amount of difference from the standard head. The `Oral B 600' is only packed with one head so if you are planning to share you will already be on the gravy train buying spares for you partner/kids. If you do share be careful when swapping heads as the insides hold water and you can let H2O fly everywhere if you are not careful.
It is hard to overly criticise the `Oral B 600' as it is so well priced. Is it as good as a £100+ brush? Of course not, but the difference in power is not in correlation with the price. Anyone on a budget would be very happy with the `Oral B 600', as it is almost as good as the higher price equivalent.
