Excellent in the snow and ice. This is my second pair the first pair lasting the whole of last Winter and most of this.+

Jim Robson says:
What sort of mileage do you do. I need something like this for next winter and I walk about five miles a day.

Although Spenbar's review of Yaktrax was positive, our tests at ICEGRIPPER found them to be limited - depending on the type of terrain they are being used on. First off, we're not completely dismissive of Yaktrax Pro - they have been around for a long time and millions of pairs have been sold around the world, but there may be better products? Especially relating to Jim Robson's enquiry. Without asking Jim about where he lives and the type of terrain he covers during his walk it's difficult to be specific about an alternative - but we are fairly confident in our prediction that Yaktrax would wear through too quickly because of the soft material ground-wear points inherent in the design. ICEGRIPPER have tested over 100 different ice grips and stock 400 winter related traction products. We are always happy to receive your calls and willing to offer advice and recommendation to ensure you purchase the correct ice grips for your lifestyle and winter leisure activities.
