5.0 out of 5 stars Fun game with lots of Mindless Zombie Killing, 8 Sept. 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Dead Rising 2 (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)
Just to start off with, this game is not broken in anyway, this is a Games for Windows Live Game which means you need a Games for Windows Live GamerTag just like on an Xbox 360. Also it needs to be updated and have a profile signed in to save any progress. All this might sound daunting but it is very simple. Create an account with Xbox Live, sign in, update and you are on-line 5 mins max if done in the correct way.

Please don't pay any attention to the lower star reviewers who could not get the game to work without even contacting the Capcom Tech Support team/even try googling a solution and they are all cries from disgruntled, unfair people who could not get the game to work without even trying very hard and following the above steps or find additional help on-line.

Any way thats enough of that, it is an extremely fun game, obviously the theme is killing lots of Zombies with an assortment of "made" weapons, basically you have to survive a set period before rescue arrives but you need to obtain Zombrex to keep your daughter from turning into a Zombie as she was infected prior to the games events.

On the whole very fun, and best of all it has Live achievements if your are into the Achievement Hunting business.

I don't think its very fair saying don't listen to lower star reviews, if you had read mine properly you would have seen that i did follow all the things you are stating and the game still isnt working for me, i'm glad it has worked for you, but i was just stating my experience with the installation and saving problem. It is not fair to write off other peoples reviews just because you have had a good experience it doesn't mean that others have. I have taken off the.line in my review about asking for help, as it was my first review i realise you can't do this.

So sorry for the comment about the lower star ratings, let me reiterate what I ment, "If you did not attempt to get the game working or try their support team for support then you should not just blatantly give it a low rating, if the support team did not help in any way then please feel free", out of curiosity did you even try a manual update? Saving problem is the lack-of-update.

In response to your inability to get the game working a quick Google has found many links to solutions of which here is one, update link first, only a partial you will need to update again to v1.02 in-game;
