Great Fantasy Read,

This review is from: Dragon Haven (The Rain Wild Chronicles, Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
Hobb is settling more into her fantasy style with Dragon Haven, making it an improvement on the first book, which seemed to struggle to gain momentum. The characters are well drawn and the human-dragon interaction is developing, and not always in the direction you might expect. Fantasy is a tricky genre to master, but Hobb is an expert who constructs a world so believable it's hard to imagine that dragons do not really exist! This book left me wanting more - just hope the next one's as good! I would have given it 5 stars but I don't think it's quite up there with the Assassin and Liveship series.
