5.0 out of 5 stars excellent, 10 Oct. 2013
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Nintendo Wii U Game Pad High Capacity Battery (Wii U) (Accessory)
for the idiot who gave the one star review and bleated on about a chinese battery for £8, go ahead. When it leaks or otherwise damages your system then you only have yourself to blame. Please don't use this as a forum to convince others to buy pontentially damaging cheap knockoffs. Only buy stuff with the official nintendo seal of quality folks.

Nintendo seal of quality is still being used to this day.

Nintendo touted that you can get up to 8 hrs of battery life against the 4-5 mark with the battery that comes in the GamePad.

It's also worth noting that the GamePad apparently feels slightly heavier

Hope this helps

Thanks.

It's just a battery, it's not that complex a piece of equipment and £25 is a ridiculous amount for what it is. £8 or £10 sounds a more realistic price for this sort of thing. They should at least offer customers the option to exchange their original battery plus a fiver or something. I'd suggest people email the idea to Nintendo, I'm going to.

So...... Regardless of the price...

Does it do the trick? Does it improve game pad life?
Funny thing is, Mr. L. J. R. Kirkup, you are the only one to actually REVIEW this product, shame it is based on hearsay and within the comments of a another review that hasn't really told us about the product, so I thank you for that.

@ Mr. R. Hamper

...yes it does - I get between 6 to 8 hours now depending on what I'm using it for.
