Great Fun - But Fragile(ish),
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Turbo Drone Quadcopter - Awesome Indoor / Outdoor Quadrocopter - Do 360° Flips! (Toy)
I havent tried a Helicopter or Quad copter before - but these are great fun. I was a bit fooled by the size - in reality the whole quadcopter and wings will fit in the palm of the average hand - so don't expect this to be big. Once you figure out the arrow on the quadcopter needs to start facing away from you each time the controls are fairly simple - flying it is like balancing a plate on a stick. If you give it too much altitude even on the lowest power level it zooms off into the ceiling, which is actually why I feel it looses a point - it is too powerful in some instances for indoors - once it builds up a little momentum it is very difficult to stop it hitting either the walls or the ceiling - which was how I broke mine after about 30 minutes - one of the arms snapped off. After trying unsuccessfully to glue it - I ended up taping the arm back on - and it actually seemed to fly better after that.

J. Morris says:
I agree it is very powerful, but one tip if you want to reduce this is to use the throttle trim button on the controller to reduce the thrust power. Hope that helps and glad you stuck it back together ok.
Any regarding the size, I think it is better to be very small as it means you can fly it inside. There is no way you can fly a larger quadcopter in a small residential room. But the Turbo Drone can still be flown outside just as well as larger models.
Have you flown outside yet?
