This review is from: Halo 4 (Xbox 360) (Video Game)The good points of this game-
New vehicles to drive or use (Mammoth and mantis), and the cut scenes, that is all.
The bad points-
Little or no music, (which was part of the Halo experience)
Graphics are blurry
Animation generally poor
Characters sometimes out of sync when speaking
Mediocre sound effects
Campaign a check list of past Halo titles
Elite AI is similair to how they behaved in Halo Combat Evolved (they side step rather than charge you firing, like they do in later titles).
Whilst I appreciate that this is 343's first attempt at this title, it did little or nothing to keep me interested. I'm afraid that the series may now be suffering from 'Star Wars' syndrome, in that the earlier titles are markedly better than the later titles.
Halo reached it's peak at H3 and Reach, this is a giant step backwards in terms of gameplay, music, animation, and quality.

I 100% agree especially about the music i loved the halo theme tune one of the few reasons i loved the halo series. I have already traded in my copy of halo 4 and I was a true fan of halo before but i cant say that anymore. I feel they have taken away features from previous halos instead of making them better. For example online co-op campaign gone, free for all slayer gone, being able to play elites offline and online gone. All they have done is try to make the online like call of duty especially with there special ops and gun classes. No originality from this latest title of halo i am deeply disappointed and its very confusing to me how people can be giving this such good ratings. They are just blind to the fact that halo is getting worse and that the original halo's were so good they are just conning themselves into believing its a good game. When in 2 weeks time they will be bored stiff of it and never play the game and completely forget about until the next halo comes out.

Umm, it has online co-op campaign....Also spartan ops which is a story based episodic co-op ?
Next time you buy a game why not look at the back of the box .
It shows you this info about 3/4 the way down ;-)

Yh I have mentioned about spartan ops in a review of this game about how awful it is because the missions are so short and the fact of how cheesy it is and completely unlike any original sort of halo games. And I did more than read the back of the box before I read it I always look at reviews and the fact I but every halo that comes out so I thought it would be just as good. Also I have been trying to find how you can do online co-op campaign and I'm having no such luck the only way I think it's possible is if you invite a friend but otherwise I have no Idea

Invite a friend , go to campaign menu , the box on the right will change from continue campaign to co-op campaign .

Reach was an abomination, and while i agree that it was short on the sound aspect (music and sound effects, especially guns and the warthog), i believe that the campaign deserves more than just a "checklist of past halo titles". As for the animations, the punch animations are pretty bad but i feel that the movements in the game flow very well and allow you to dart around the map dispatching enemies like a complete badass, you feel more like a super soldier in halo 4 than you ever did on the other titles, overall i felt like this was a halo game, i felt that 343 are trying to get the series back on the track of halo 3 (arguably the best in the series, if not for campaign then for the most fun xbox live experience i have ever had). Although i have not had the chance to check out the multiplayer as i have not got xbox live at the moment (due to xbox lives lack of current titles that provide a good online experience), i am looking forward to checking out the multiplayer this weekend when i finally renew my xbl subscription (probably for the last time as i am moving to pc gaming).

Moff itch says:
reviewer clearly hasnt played the game or is just hating.
Graphics are best on xbox.
Animations are first class.
Sound effects some of the best in a computer game.
Couple of other points are understandable. Like for example the music comment, after a few playthroughs though I can say that the soundtrack is outstanding. It is just not as in your face as previous titles.
